 The latest additions to this site are a series of photos of Ikaria so that my family and friends can share in the wonderful scenery and get some feel for the place I am spending so much time in of late. Also new are a series of photographs taken on a recent trip around the mainland of Greece, including some of Parga where we joined Phil and Elaine for a couple of days.

The site was originally created to allow my fellow travellers the opportunity to see thumbnails of digital photographs I took on my various Explore Worldwide tours. If any of those fellow travellers would like a copy of the full size picture they would only have to get in touch and I would then email it to them. (The easiest way to do that is to click on the thumbnail to go to a response form which will send me an email request.)

Later on I decided to provide links to material from other holidays, Explore or not. In 2007, I included a link to the blog I created for my Grand European Tour with Topsy.

Finally, almost a year after the event, I managed to find time to upload my photos from the Adventures in Patagonia tour, Christmas 2006-07. There are 80-odd photos, selected from the 528 I took on the basis of I like the look of them, not necessarily on artistic merit, although I hope at least some do have.

This site carries thumbnails of digital photographs taken by Gordon Gilmore during various Explore Worldwide tours.
A brief note of the location the photograph was taken is included. I would be grateful if anyone finding any of these to be in error would let me know. I apologize for the large number of photographs of Everest - but then it is difficult not to believe that the next photographs will be the better than the last - one has to do it! ...Because it is there!

The creator retains and asserts all intellectual property rights and copyrights to these images, the original photographs and the digital files holding them. Copies of the original photographs will be made available freely to fellow travellers on the understanding that copyright will be respected and that they will not be reproduced or published in any form whatsoever without the written permission of the creator.
